It was my lil sister’s 30th birthday yesterday and we celebrated with a party at Whiteman Park.. Somewhat differently to my 30th when we were all without kids!
It was a wonderful party and the girls had a ball..
Most importantly adults and children alike ABSOLUTELY loved the mini cupcakes from Megan at Littlesweet Bakery just outside Fremantle..
We had the divine White Choc & Raspberry, Choc Mud and Cookies and Cream flavours..
I did mean to take some pics before the party… but in all the chaos it was forgotten.. so here are some pics of the leftovers (yes I hid 3 of them for me the next day!)
They have travelled in the car been banged around in their box and still look fantastic..
Despite being a photographer the most important part about cake for me is not how it looks but how it tastes… AMAZING!
One of my pics shows that there was LOADS of raspberries in the white choc ones (yes that is mid eating for me – it was a struggle to put it down long enough to photograph)
Megan uses imported Belgian chocolate – it makes a difference..
Almost every single person commented on them and I had to push away 8 little kids to save the three for the post!
The 50c piece shows the size of the cupcakes – they were a two to three bite proposition for me (depending on whether our mum was looking).. and for the purpose of the blog I tried all three J -
A big thank you to Megan for making the yummiest cakes around and making our lives that little bit sweeter! And yes she does do wedding cakes too..
